Summary: What a fun and memorable experience to have! In an otherwise busy shopping city, Yayo welcomed us into her home for a moment of peace while we made miso soup, dashimaki tamago, okonomiyaki, and taiyaki. She was very helpful in explaining the significance of each dish and ingredient while giving advice on how to cook these at home. To top it off, she provided snacks, drinks and gifts to take home. Do not miss this. *NOTE* make sure to leave room to eat all the delicious food!

Summary: My partner and I did Yayo’s cooking class on our first night in Japan and it was the perfect warm welcome. The host is so kind and warm. She tells you about the ingredients she’s using and how they’re relevant to the dishes and different is varying parts of Japan. We met another couple during the class and had a wonderful time. I can’t explain how lovely the entire experience was.
